Joel Schroeder is a Junior Equity Partner of Alecozay Law Firm, PLLC. He earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated in May 2025. While in law school, he received the Dean’s Scholarship, earned Dean’s List recognition in Fall 2023, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Schlueter Moot Court Competition.

Mr. Schroeder's practice focuses on estate planning, asset protection, and corporate matters, with experience in areas such as estate review, estate administration issues, entity formation, corporate compliance, and emerging regulatory issues, including the Corporate Transparency Act and data privacy requirements. Prior to his admission to the bar, Mr. Schroeder served as a law clerk for the firm, where he conducted legal research, drafted publications, and assisted in client intake and consultations.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Schroeder gained experience at The Law Office of Patrick E. Hundley in Boerne, Texas, where he assisted with family law and tort litigation matters.

 

In addition to his legal training, Mr. Schroeder has several years of business and operations experience as a Traveling Property Manager for Joshua Management, where he oversaw multiple storage facilities, drafted leases, and navigated complex client situations. 

Mr. Schroeder is committed to client service and continuous professional development as he builds his legal career in business and corporate law.
